John Tingle is the Trade Team Manager for UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in the East of England (Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire). A Chartered Chemical Engineer by training he has worked at senior level in many different process industries for companies such as Suez, Morrison Construction, PCI (now Black and Veatch) and Bord na Mona. A specialist in the Environmental and Low Carbon sectors John’s experience is principally in water and wastewater treatment (including leachate treatment) and also includes composting and anaerobic treatment of waste in a career spanning more than 40 years.

Norman has worked as an ITA for over 2 years supporting local companies who wish to increase their exports. Prior to this he has lived and worked overseas in the Asia/Pacific, Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa and Europe where he has experience and responsibility for sales growth and delivery through the management of distribution networks and direct sales

Nick has worked as an International Trade Adviser for twelve years and has a strong background in UKTI products and services and delivery of Government funded programmes. Nick’s extensive trade mission experience includes leading visits to Poland, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Mexico, Australia and Hong Kong. He prides himself on building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.

Maggie has worked with UKTI for several years in the West Midlands, and for a short time in the East Midlands, as International Trade Adviser. She helps companies of all sizes to achieve success internationally.

Maggie currently works as part of the Staffordshire team, and her main role is to support medium sized businesses, turning over £25million and above, to develop and increase their overseas market share. She also maintains a portfolio of first time exporters and SMEs. Maggie's industry experience is predominately in chemicals and petro chemicals, engineering, capital goods and logistics.

Heather is an International Trade Adviser based in the Black Country and she has a wealth of experience in a range of industry sectors including food and drink, agriculture, transport and marine sectors. Prior to joining UKTI Heather worked for an agrifood business. She has also worked in the transport industry, providing information and advice, and for a Government organisation promoting business interests.
