Environmental engineering Company working to treat industrial water, wastewater and air to limit enviromental pollution as well as ensuring economically efficient processes. Based in Barcelona, Condorchem Envitech specialises in concentration technologies; evaporation and crystallization to use (often in conjunction with pre and main treatments) to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge or as close to, when appropriate. 

Working across industries including landfill, automotive and metal working, food and beverage, pharmaceutical as well as energy and oil and gas, Condorchem Envitech works as an integrator; designing specific "turnkey" processes to solve environmental problems with water, wastewater and air.

Our company is resposible for the treatment of municipal solid wastes produced in the Barcelona Metropolitane Area. It is around 1.500.00 t/year of different products. The main part is unsorted municipal solid watses that are procesed in MBT installations. From these installations different rejected materials are produced. 

We are searching technologies suitable to treat these rejected materials. Maybe the most important is the organic fraction of the unsorted municipal solid waste. Times ago it was used to produced bioestabilized material that could be use in agricultural fields, but nowadays it is forbiden.

We try to contact companies with solutions that could give technical and economical solutions to this rejected materials.

Cristina H. Valiñani is the Director of Trade & Investment for the North East of Spain and Andorra, based at the British Consulate General in Barcelona, since August 2009.

She earned her MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, developing her thesis at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She holds an Executive MBA by the IE Business School (Instituto de Empresa). She is a specialist in product marketing and in internationalisation strategy and she has developed her career in several multinational companies and in several countries.

Besides managing the operation of DIT Barcelona, she leads on the campaign on Circular Economy.
